Metal Fusion is built from the wisdom of many tradespeople. A stellar cast of skilled workers trained me in; boilermaking, millwrighting, pipe welding, tube welding, rigging, and mirror-welding. During the last 20 years I have worked outages and shutdowns in renewable energy, nuclear energy, and fossil fuels from Maine to Florida. This particular kind of work demands a high quality of craftsmanship, at a fast rate, in challenging environments. I have encountered many different personalities, work ethics, and business strategies as I moved through my professional progression. Metal Fusion, ties all of these things together as a company, and as a service. Safety, quality and integrity is the foundation for the past, present, and future of this establishment. When communication, customer service, cost-efficiency and innovation are added to the equation an unmatched product and service is rendered. This transformation included headlights and taillights, modified grill, tint, rims, entertainment package (7” touchscreen, subwoofer and amplifier), fuel door, badge removal, S&B cold-air intake, and performance chip.
Foyer Projet
The Foyer Renovation - July 2023
The addition of a bench with storage. New hooks, paint, trim, and drywall completion.
Stainless steel, carbon steel, pine wood, stains (summer oak, slate, and spar urethane).
First Take-
There was meant to be a drastic contrast between stains, unfortunately the summer oak happened to be much lighter than I had expected. This may have been due to the pale tones of the pine.
A few ideas had been thrown around as to how to fasten the top of bench. Hinges, a slider, or fixed. A removable lid (top) with no fasteners was the final design choice.

Thoughts, ideas, critiques, and limitations. These pieces are all vague ideas until the process begins. Things change during the build for a variety of different reasons.
